Hueee.....!!!!!!!!! Back again to the "reality" facing tons of waiting-job-to-be-done list after having a very long weekend.. Last Thursday was the Independence Day (August 17th) and I had my own way celebrating the day by having sleep all day long.. How I loved it.. But, on Friday, August 18th, I still had to come to the office, while most of my friends had a "free" day off from their office. Well, nevermind.. I still had a great time spending my long weekend by participating in outbond from my church youth activity in Lembang, 3 days and 2 nights. I was supposed to go there on Saturday morning, at 7 AM, but apparantely I woke up right at 7 AM.. Great... I knew I wouldn't make it to church, so I decided to go with Mas Didik, our funkiest young priest ever.. hehehehe.. I was told that he would go at night then I called him. Unfortunately, his car was already full with other members. Damn..! I didn't have any idea how would I go to Lembang. I wanted to drive myself, but absolutely mum wouldn't allow. And taking my 1978 VW Combi wasn't a good idea too. I didn't wanna trouble myself with old car though I knew it was actually okay.. Then Anto called me, offering a lift to Lembang with Bayu. I thanked God for it..



Then we started off to Lembang at 8 PM. I'd just found out that Bayu's car was actually not in a good condition. The car could get fast not more than 70 km/hrs. So, the trip, which was supposed taken 2 hours long, expanded to 5 hours.. So, we arrived in Lembang at 1 AM (on Sunday) *long sighs*
Indra, Anung, Riris, Mahe, Kukun and other commitee gave us a welcome hug before explained my job as the part of the commitee. The members were already sleeping but the Outbond Commitee were still up, preparing for the games in the next morning.. I joined preparing the Spider Web games (or in my mind, by using Rowling's very wellknown fantasy, was Aragog's Trap), because I was going to stand by in Post 5 with Anto. We finally finished at about 3.30 AM while we were supposed to wake up at 5.. How wonderful... I thought I would get sleepy in the post, but funny that I felt so fresh that day.. Well, that was great..

After having morning pray, breakfast, and some exercise, the ice-breaking games began to decide which was the team that got the honour to take the first place to do the tracking games. While the games were on, Indra told me that Anto would take the 1st post with Maria, because Silvi suddenly was unable to do it. I was okay with that and that mean I should find the replacement. Nobody was able to accompany me. Everyone was set to their own posts. Then I remembered Mas Didik didn't have something to do so I asked him to accompany me. He refused my offer because he was going to sleep all day, but I didn't allow it. I insisted deeply as I said that wasn't fair for me because I needed a long sleep too, considering that I only had an hour sleep, just like him.. Finally, he said yes, hehehehe...

At 10 AM, Anung, Riris and Awe dropped me and Mas Didik in the middle of the track that led us to 5th post, which was the last post of the tracking games. It was near soccer field on the top of the hill. To reach the place, we should pass the chilli fields. Yep, really.. That was the first time I passed the small path surrounded by chillis... I used to accross the rice field or corn field, but this time was chilli. Cool..! While finding the soccer field, Mas Didik pouted that he hated to get sweat.. Yeah right... I rolled my eyes.. I knew he was joking..

Mas Didik: *panting* "Look at me! I'm sweating..! I hate sweating..."
Me: "Oh, c'mon... Don't be too spoiled..."
Mas Didik: "I feel suffer and thanks to you, Pingo.."
Me: "Shut it... Now, move..!"

And finally, we arrived! But, then we looked each other.. There were kids playing soccer and we found no spot to tie the spider web. Great..! I tried to find the idea where should we tie it while Mas Didik called Anung through his cellphone. There were 2 bamboo thick sticks but still not strong enough to be used and there were two trees, the most perfect spot, but it was too far and the spider web rope wasn't long enough. It was already 11 AM. Quite hot and I couldn't think the reason why Anung didn't want to prepare the game in the morning.. He said, the team would reach 5th post at 12, but seemed he mispredicted.. Me and Mas Didik were still looking for the spot, the first team was appeared 20 minutes after we arrived. Wasn't it great???? Well, lucky for the team. As we were working on the spot and waiting for Anung to bring the additional ropes, they had a chance to take a long break after walking through the hill, up and down.. And then we decided to wait for the other teams to show up because it was already near the lunch time.. Thanked God it was a fun and happy activity, so we faced the problem happily..
After having lunch, the spider web was set up, and the games began again... I thought, it was the funniest and the happiest post.. Spider Web (or Aragog's Trap) was a game where the team should across to the other side of the place through the web. There were 9 holes (each team were consist of 8 members). One hole for one member. Once the hole had been used, so it couldn't be used for other member to pass. One more obstacle, you were not allowed to touch the rope.. Even if it was the shirt, pants, anything... Great teamwork was the important score.


Yudo tried to pass the hole. He was the biggest and the tallest member of members and he did it!! Salut to Yudo...!! Yay...!!!

And the game finally off at 4 PM.. Man, that was absolutely, definitely making me so fucking tired... But, really, the day was so great and I loved to see the members were so happy and laughing each other..

On Monday, we finally prepared to go home. But before we off to Jakarta, the commitee gave free time to have fun in Bandung. So, we went to Bandung for awhile. Stopped in Dago and the members were off to each factory outlets that spread neatly, all the side of Dago street. Jeez, I was really amazed with this "factory outlet" business. About 12 years ago, Dago street was plain. But after 10 years later, it was full of factory outlets... This cheap-clothes business is really succesfull..

I didn't go to the factory outlets. Despite of being so bored by those FO stuffs, I didn't bring enough money, hehehehehehhee.. I didn't wanna suffer myself seeing good and cheap clothes that I couldn't afford to buy.. I only had Rp 20.000,- left in my pocket.. So, I just waited for the kids in front of ITB university with Indra, Anung, Riris, Awe, and Kukun..

Finally, at 3 PM, we were off to Jakarta and...... the traffic in Cipularang highway was fucking great!! Traffic jam.. of course, Bandung is #1 city to go for a short holiday break, especially with Cipularang highway, it only takes 1,5 hour from Jakarta to Bandung.. But, we had 5 hours long to reach Jakarta...

I was with Anung, Riris and Kukun and we reached Jakarta at 8.30 PM.. Before Anung dropped me at home, we had pork as dinner in Jatinegara.. Sweet revenge for not having a proper meal while in Lembang, hehehehe... So yummy that pork was...

That was the days where I finally found some happiness, refreshing time, and having fun with my friends... Thank God.. Ameen...!!
